Juniors Medal at Local Developmental Tournament
Coach Steve Taylor held a Green Dot and Orange Ball Fun Tournament at the National Tennis Centre. These two divisions are instrumental in the development of upcoming junior players.

Juniors Success at Lil Mo International Tournament :
Congratulations are extended to Dentry Mortimer Jr. who participated in the Lil Mo competition and won the Boys U16 Doubles along with his partner Eduardo Menezes. The Mixed Doubles format consisted of 1 6-game set, no-ad scoring, with a 7-pt tiebreaker. In the finals, DJ and partner won over Juan and Matias Hidrobo 8 – 6. Dentry also won the Boys Consolation U16 Singles Finals.
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) applauds DJ for his achievements on this international stage. Each year, Little Mo features 500 hundred players from approximately 60 countries. This year was the 15th edition and was held at the Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, December 3rd-8th.
The competition provided a lot of exposure for our Bahamian juniors who played, some represented for the first time. There were also some Quarterfinal appearances, including Briana Houlgrave in Mixed Doubles with partner Sena Furugen, Breann Ferguson in U14 Girls Singles, and Cameron Ferguson in the Boys U10 Singles. They all represented the country well.
College Circuit Doubles Preseason Rankings
In the college preseason, Juan Ramirez and Bain held the highest preseason doubles ranking for their college Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA) Gold Rush. Ramirez and Bain earned their ranking after runner-up finishes in the Gulf Region and ITA Cup tournaments in October. This placement will bode well for them in the upcoming college tennis season. We know that they will do well.
