During the unaffiliated conference championships where XULA Gold Rush emerged victoriously, Jacobi Bain was also awarded for his singles and doubles play representing XULA. The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association(BLTA) congratulates Jacobi on two outstanding feats in the college tournament championships. As he moves on to the NAIA Nationals we wish him and his Gold Rush teammates great success. Continue to excel Jacobi!
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association also congratulates Donte Armbrister who captured the Freshman of the Year accolade at Hampton University’s Sports Awards ceremony. Donte played his first college tennis season and was able to post a very
good singles record(10 – 9) despite the team not participating last season during the pandemic and having a tough season this year. We wish Donte and the Pirates all the best!
