A talented trio of Bahamian tennis players are headed to NAIA Tennis Nationals in Mobile, Alabama. They have all won a championship either in conference or unaffiliated. They have all contributed to the success their tennis teams have achieved.
Abigail Simms is playing for Indiana Tech Warriors. This is Abigail’s second consecutive WHAC championship (2021 and 2022), and 2nd Nationals. Abigail was also ranked in the polls in singles and doubles during her time with Indiana Tech.
Joshua Turnquest is playing for Indiana Weslayan Wildcats. Joshua is a graduate student who is setting history along with his teammates on such a stellar season. The Wildcats are ranked # 2 in the nation and have earned a #2 seed at Nationals!
Jacobi Bain who is playing for Xavier University Louisiana Gold Rush is having a great freshman year, heading to Nationals. The Gold Rush are
ranked fifth and we could have a historic moment if they meet up against Joshua’s Wildcats in the tournament!
