The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Bahamian Lauryn Daxon for being recognized as 2nd Team singles and doubles All-Conference for Missouri Valley College. Lauryn is a sophomore at Missouri Valley and has had a very successful tennis season.
Coming off an injury last year, Lauryn has comeback in stellar form. Her team, the Missouri Valley College Vikings which was 19-1 for the season defeated Louis College Pharmacy in the first round 5-0 followed by a clean sweep of Missouri Baptist University in the semifinals.
Lauryn and her team played in the championship round of the Heart/AMC Postseason Tournament and faced No. 6 William Woods where they lost ending the season with an impressive 20-2 record.
We wish Lauryn and the Vikings continued success in the future.
