THE 2023 Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) recognition awards ceremony was a resounding success as the tennis community came out in support of the award recipients. Persons represented from the islands of Abaco, Eleuthera, Nassau and Grand Bahama. The executives of the BLTA presented awards to the following winners in the various categories:

President Perry Newton also presented executives Chilean Burrows, Cameel McDonald, Yvette Godet, Tara Mactaggart, Wendy Bowe, and Timothy Dames with awards of appreciation. It was a great night of celebration recognizing those who have given selfless service in areas of media, tennis administration, association work, national tournament, team representation, coaching, community outreach, NTC development and management and more. The work and the commitment are very much appreciated. Thank you for positively contributing to the tennis landscape in The Bahamas. We are thankful that God has made the way clear and lightened our load as He continues to guide and direct our pathway.
