After securing the win over Antigua on Monday, The Bahamas faced the host country, Costa Rica, yesterday after Tuesday’s day off. In singles play, Philip (PJ)went up early but lost 4-6, 2-6 to Sebastian Quiros. Baker lost in a tough three-setter6-3, 3-6, 2-6 to Jesse Flores Knowles.
Coach Marvin Rolle would go with the doubles lineup of Justin Lunn and Donte Armbrister. They played well but lost 4-6,4-6. The Team takes on US Virgin Islands today and Puerto Rico on Friday. Team Bahamas is hoping to finish strong to improve its chances for
advancement to Group 2. The playoff round is set for Saturday.
