Top juniors from The Bahamas, Mexico, The United States and Barbados competed at the National Tennis Centre over this past weekend at the IC Rod Laver North American Junior Challenge.
Team Bahamas consisted of Gabrielle Simms, Peyton Anderson, Jacobi Bain and Denali Nottage. The coach was Mr. Neil Mactaggart. On Saturday The Bahamas faced The United States and competed against Mexico on Sunday and the results are attached. Although the Bahamas played with skill and intensity they did not come up with a win.
The tournament ended yesterday where The Bahamas lost to Barbados in an epic match that was decided by a 10 pt. Mixed Doubles tiebreak (10-7). Mexico won over the U.S.A to take the title.
