After going 1-1 in round-robin pool play Team Bahamas U12 Boys will advance to the Playoff Rounds. The Bahamas will play the top finisher from the other pool. The winner will then play in the finals.
Today was the third day of competition. Team Bahamas Girls and Boys played hard despite falling short. The Boys went 1 – 2 in favor of the
Dominican Republic Team. Kingston Rees #2 singles lost 0-6, 2-6. Patrick Mactaggart #1 singles won 6-2, 6-0 Doubles: Patrick and Noah Russell lost 7-6, 5-7, 6-10. Patrick who is undefeated thus far in singles play for the tournament also celebrated his birthday today. Happy birthday blessings Patrick! The Girls fought but lost 0 – 3 to Puerto Rico. S’rae Rodgers #2 singles lost 0-6, 5-7. Marina Bostwick #1 singles lost 0-6, 0-6 and doubles Bostwick and Rogers lost 0-6, 0-6.
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) wishes the teams well as the boys will continue on to Main Draw Playoffs and the Girls finish play in the round-robin for positional placement. The Girls Team consists of Marlon Bostwick, Caitlyn Pratt, Srae’ Rodgers and Coach Sharon Greene. The Boy’s Team consists of Patrick Mactaggart, Kingston Rees, Noah Russell and Coach Artie Johnson.

Boys Won 2 – 1 over Jamaica:
Kingston Rees #2 singles lost 4-6, 6-3, 0-6. Patrick Mactaggart #1 singles won 6-4, 6-0. Doubles: Patrick and Noah won 7-5, 4-6, 10-2. Girls 0 – 3 to Cuba, S’rae Rodgers #2 singles lost against Cuba, 6-4, 0-6, 3-2 retired. Marina Bostwick #1 singles lost 0-6, 1-6. Doubles: Marina and Caitlyn played and lost 1-6, 2-6.
Day 2
The Boys had a rest day. The Girls played but lost to the Dominican Republic. Caitlyn Pratt #2 singles lost 5-7, 3-6. Marina Bostwick #1 singles lost 4-6, 2-6. Doubles: S’rae Rodgers and Marina teamed up losing 0-6, 3-6.
