The Bahamas was victorious today over Aruba 3-0 at the World Tennis
Team Competition in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The Bahamas coming off two tough and competitive losses came back strong
today in matchplay. Anthony Burrows Jr. set the stage as he won easily 6-1,
6-0, giving up only one game! over Aruba. Michael Major Jr. would
continue the winning cycle with a strong performance of 7-5, 6-1.
The duo of Anthony and Dentry Mortimer Jr. was productive with a convincing
win 6-0, 6-2.
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates the Team on this win,
as they move on to play the winner of Curacao versus Guyana.
