It was a fantastic first day of competition at The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) 2023 RBC Spring Classic Tennis Tournament. The tournament showcases the best in junior tennis in the Bahamas. Boys and Girls in the U14 groups and the Boys U16 age group took centre stage on Thursday as the rain threatened but did not materialize. There were some competitive matches and the kids were very excited to participate in the RBC Spring Classic.
Friday promises to be even better as tournament organizers prepare for approximately 60 matches! The U12 Girls and Boys will see action for the first time along with the U18 Boys and Girls. The Quarterfinal matches are expected to take place later in the day. Please see the attached Day 2 schedule. The tournament is single elimination, and food and drinks will be on sale.
