The saying on his shirt “Leave Your Legacy” rings true as Justin Roberts sets new career tennis high.
Justin has moved to under 800 on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) singles’ ranking. The ATP is the governing body of the men’s professional tennis circuits – starting August 5th 2019, the ATP ranking system was improved to include performances of 15k tournaments in its ranking system and new scoring system for 25k tournaments.
On the ITF pro circuit this summer, Justin achieved the following notable wins: one doubles finals championship, one singles finals
championship, two singles quarterfinals appearances and another doubles finals appearance. It is no wonder then that Justin is also ranked in the top 1100 in doubles on the ATP tour.
Justin reflected with us on reaching this new ranking (736),
“I’m happy to be progressing with my ranking. It shows that I’m on the right path and I’m improving, getting closer to my goals. This ranking will allow me to be in the main draw in tournaments almost every week, which should help me to improve my ranking more quickly.”
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Justin, as he continues to raise the bar. We wish you continued success and feats on your tennis journey.
