Scott Reddick has captured the Men’s Jr Vets Singles Title against Harrington Saunders 6-0 6-0 in the AID 28th Annual Claycourt Championships. Scott had a dominant performance in all his matches, not dropping a set and giving up only 2 games all tournament long! Scott will play in another singles showdown on Saturday against Bobby Chen in the Men’s Open Singles Final. Scott will also play in the doubles semifinals for a chance to advance to play for a third title!
The semifinal showdown is set in the Men’s Doubles Jr. Vets division. Dwayne Gibson and Bud Cambridge will face Jyles Turnquest and Marcelo Zanelli, and Scott Reddick and Wayne Thompson will face Alejandro Mesples and Mike Butler. Matches begin at 5:30 pm tomorrow(Friday) at the Gym Tennis Club.
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) congratulates Scott on his victory and outstanding play. We also extend congratulations to the runner-up and the participants. The AID Claycourt Championships has been well organized and successful. The tournament referee is Mr Mickey Williams assisted by Mr Everette Munroe.
