This past week, Bahamian Anthony Burrows Jr. participated in the Barnet Junior Open in Hertfordshire, Great Britain and came out on top. Anthony entered the U14 Boys competition seeded second and would breeze through the first two rounds against Shinichiro 4-2,4-0 and Cuticheras 4-0,4-0. He would then face the #1 seed Sasha and win in 2 sets 4-1, 5-3.
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates “AJ” on his victory in the British tournament and wishes him much success on his tennis journey.
