At the Oaces Tennis Level 6 Junior Championships this past weekend Bahamians Patrick and Jackson Mactaggart (ages 9 and 11 respectively) won the Boys U12 doubles title in Wellington, Florida. This event is a United States Tennis Association (USTA) Level 6 tournament.
The boys who were playing unseeded defeated Calvo/Gonzalez in the semifinals 8-2 and in the finals, the Mactaggart duo won over the #1 seed Bowden/Ivantsov 8-2. The Boys credited good serving, concise returning, good communication and dominance at the net to their successful outcome!
