Despite the loss to Costa Rica (0-3) on the final day, Team Bahamas ends its run on the top half of the World Juniors Tennis Competition in the 6th position out of 14 countries. The Bahamas edged out El Salvador, Honduras, Barbados, Jamaica, Antigua, Curacao, Suriname and Panama.
The Dominican Republic won the overall title and Puerto Rico was the runner-up Both teams will move on to the next round later on in the year. The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association thanks Sierra Rodgers, BreAnn Ferguson, Saphirre Ferguson and Coach Marion Bain for their representation in the Dominican Republic.
The Team returns home tomorrow.
