Top players have emerged victorious at the Cotecc U14 Tennis Tournament at the National Tennis Centre. The Tournament which is organized by The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association is proudly sponsored by Custom Computers.
Advancing in the Boys R16 matches on Monday were Aiden Ritchie, Brandon Bridgewater, Synaj Watkins and Neevin Marcos. They will join the top seeds Dmitri Kirton, Patrick Mactaggart, Alhil Cyril and Alec Hooper in the quarterfinals round today, Tuesday, November 12th starting at 9 am at the NTC. Advancing from the Girl’s Quarterfinal matches were Makeda Bain, Tatyana Madu, Sarai Clarke and Keziah Fluonia. Top seed Tatyana Madu from THe Bahamas will play Keziah Fluonia, the two faced off against each other in the round robins with Tatyana coming out on top. Bahamian Sarai Clarke will face Trinidad and Tobago’s Makeda Bain. The girls’ matches will follow the boys’s Quarterfinal matches.
In the Consolation rounds, Ayai Bethel will face Zamere Davis in the Consolation Finals. In the Girls Consolation Semifinals round Victoria Sandi-Aguilar will face S’Rae Rodgers and Caitlyn Pratt will play
Danielle Saunders. Doubles matches are also scheduled for today. There were 9 countries represented in this international event and the level of competition is high as some of the best in the U14 category are displaying their skills at the NTC.
